After School’s Kahi, Ju Yeon, Uee and Nana are featured in a photo shoot for a Japanese magazine, Jelly. Dressed in Topshop apparels and accessories, Kahi, Ju Yeon, Uee and Nana showed different looks and styles that are great from the Spring / Summer season. From cheery-colored ensembles, to mysterious monochromatic pieces, to floral , sweet-looking outfits, the four ladies certainly showcased their best in their first photo shoot in Japan.

Q: Your 1st magazine shoot in Japan is today’s Jelly. What did you think?

Juyeon: Jelly is sold in Korea too, and I was so happy that our 1st shoot was one of my favorites, Jelly!
Uee: The poses for shoots in Korea are usually predetermined, so it was really fun to have some freedom.
Kahi: We have a lot of magazine shoots in Korea too, but there were lots of clothes and styles that I’ve never tried before, so it was really fun. I hope we’re able to do more of these kinds of shoots in the future.

Q: What is your usual fashion?

Nana: I wear mostly simple stuff with clean lines, but I love fashion, so I’m enjoying all sorts of genres.
Kahi: Nana was a model.
Nana: I can look good in anything (lol)!
Juyeon: I wear a lot of simple stuff too, but try to have my bag, shoes, or hat be the fashion point. I also like to mix and match colors!

Q: We had you guys wear clothes from Topshop this time. Do you guys shop at Topshop?

Uee: When we were in Japan before, the store was closed, so we couldn’t go. I’d definitely like to go this time.

The glitz and glamor of Dream Concert 2011 red carpet took place on 28 May, 2011, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, just before the concert itself. While most of the ladies and guys showed up in monochromatic outfits or stage outfits (which were rather disappointing), IU and Goo Hara strutted down the red carpet in mini cocktail designer dresses which were absolutely adorable.

The stars who walked the red carpet for Dream Concert 2011 include the MCs Song Joong Ki, Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul and KARA’s Goo Hara, 2PM, After SChool, 5Dolls, Miss A, K.Will, TVXQ, Rainbow, BEAST, FT Island, f(x), SHINee, Secret, SISTAR, IU, U-Kiss, Eru, G.Na, KARA, T-ara, 4Minute, After School and Jewelry.

Jewelry members, Eunjung, Baby J, Yewon and Semi, were seen in mini dresses and lots of leather and studded details. Their platform sandals were the ones that stole the limelight- Suecomma Bonnie‘s Studded Platform Sandals and what seem like Christian Louboutin‘s Balota 120 glitter-finish multi-strap sandals (available on Net-a-Porter for USD$1095).

KARA’s Goo Hara, one of the MCs of Dream Concert 2011, was seen in Valentino‘s Embellished silk strapless dress, with an exquisitely embroidered lace and bead-embellished bodice and organza rosettes through the skirt (available on Net-a-Porter for USD$11,000).

IU wore 3.1 Phillip Lim‘s Silk-blend organza and lace dress for the red carpet. Delicately contrasting black lace and nude silk-blend organza give 3.1 Phillip Lim’s dress an elegant contemporary spin (available on Net-a-Porter for USD$895)

T-ara, 4Minute, Sistar and Miss A were all seen in monochromatic mini dresses or black pants outfits with platform heels.

G.Na (Gina Choi) was seen in Gucci‘s black stretch cutout detailed jeweled dress with black platform peep-toes heels (available on Bluefly for USD$2319). With simple accessorizing and gorgeous curled hair, I’m absolutely loving this look on her!

After School, Secret, KARA, Rainbow and 5Dolls were seen in their stage oufits for the red carpet.

BEAST, U-Kiss, TVXQ, and Eru chose black smart suits for the red carpet, while SHINee, F.T. Island and K. Will added some colors and designs to their black smart casual outfits. 2PM, on the other hand, were seen with military-inspired trench coats and boots.

After School’s UEE and Nana showed off their doll-like figures during a pictorial for the June issue of Vogue Girl Korea.

The two girls featured a sweet, casual look, wearing loose fitting dresses and floral prints. The clothes were sophisticated and feminine, allowing the girls’ natural beauty to shine.

During their interview, they shared their tips on healthy habits such as dieting and exercising, as well as picking out some of their favorite beauty items.

In the new May 2011 Single’s Magazine issue, the Korean girl group After school bring new style of more summer color’s to see. With out much speculation, each member look’s like they are all definitely more ready for the upcoming season. In the photo shoot, they give you vintage clothing from high rise button shorts to floral lace dresses. But they all add there own charisma into it, and are all able to bring it altogether. When you first take a glimpse at it, Bekah and Uee definitely capture my attention. With two similar patterns on their outfits, it blends together, but with their intense stares, both girls look like they can take any boy down. On the left, Bekah is wearing a royal blue dress, with a simple red belt to accentuate her small waist. On the right, Uee is wearing a very summer like one piece, with petal flowers as the design, along with a beaded necklace and blue high heels.

Within the color ranges of beige, After School member’s E-Young, Jooyeon, and Lizzy make your outfit for a important occasion look classy. E-young is wearing a simple plain dress, with intriguing feather detailing at the bottom. Raina is wearing a ruffle dress, and lastly, Lizzy is seen wearing a tube top dress with embroidery, and flower ruffles towards the lower part of the dress.

Nana and Kahi are both wearing the same dress style but in two different polka dot pattern colors. Nana is wearing a coral orange color and Kahi has a grey one. With similar designs, it can be clearly be compared to SNSD’s hoot vintage 80′s concept.

After School definitely showed off there gorgeous legs, and nice waistlines for the May 2011 Single’s Magazine issue. With fresh colors, and flowing dresses, it looks like these will start being worn. But girl’s don’t need to have a pretty legs or perfect waistlines to pull these looks off. If you choose your outfit pieces for this season wisely, by adding a few accessories, or wearing heels for once, it can all make a difference, even just a little bit.

The girls of After School rocked May‘s issue of Elle Girl Korea. They showed off their versatile looks, going from retro dancers, sweet fashionistas, dainty fairy girls in chiffon and pastel themed outfits to rock chicks.

Which look do you like the best? I definitely love how the chiffon pastel outfits give a very soft look to the girls!

Fashionista, actress and singer Seo In Young released her first self designed bag inspired by Nina Ricci.

The Limited Edition ‘Nina Ricci + Seo In Young’ bags will be on sale in Korea by the end of March and is priced at USD $400.

The bags are fun and spunky in pink, with spiky studs scattered all around them. My personal favorite has to the sassy yet cute studded CD bag.

The launch event was held in Horim Art Hall in Shinsa-dong on March 9th at 7:00PM.

Stars like After School’s Kahi, Seo In Young‘s former group Jewelry, Nine Muses,  Yoo Ah In, Kang Ye Won and Yoo In Ah lined up the red carpet and showed support for the veteran singer.

Many of you would have realized that Sundown Festival 2010 has come and gone, leaving behind only great memories for those who had gone to attend the concert at Sentosa Resorts World, Universal Studios. For me, the concert was an absolute blast, and it was definitely an amazing adrenaline rush for the young night. Many thanks to Red Spade Entertainment for the invitation to the Sundown Festival 2010 Press Conference.

As everyone knew, the artists that were present for the concert were Korean girl-group After School and the four manly boys from F.Cuz. Alongside them, Japanese rock groups, SuG and LM.C, also were on the list of artists to perform for the Sundown Festival 2010.

The first to appear for the press conference were none other than the colorfully decked-out Japanese rock band, SuG!

The five members (from left to right) Chiyu, Shinpei, Takeru, Masato and Yuji.

The members were very colorful, wearing rainbow colored vests, all designed with studs and chains on them. One significant thing about their clothes that caught my eye was the fact that they were also all out on the zebra prints. That’s right, you heard me right. From tops to their pants, on every member, there seemed to be something that was very zebra-like.

In my opinion, I liked Shinpei’s (in green) headphones which were stylishly made in zebra prints too!

Next to show up was none other that the boys of k-pop boyband, F.Cuz!

The four boys walked in confidently, head to toe in simple and sleek black vests and blazers. To go along with the silent-but-deadly look, the boys turned up in ripped jeans to give it a slight causal touch to the elegant fierceness. Finishing off the look, the older members turned up in black ties (with Kan’s tie hanging loosely around his collar) while the magnae, Yejun, dons on a cute black bow-tie to help him regain his title of ‘the cute magnae‘.

Kan also turned up with a headband, making him look very delectable at the same time. Around leader Jinon and vocalist LeeU‘s wrists were metal studded bracelets.

Coming right up were the second Japanese rock group, LM.C.

The two members, Maya and Aiji, wore black shirts and hoodies with the words ‘We’re Just Wonder Holic‘ which is actually the name of their latest album, which was released in March 2010. With their very punk-like studded chokers and metal studded leather bracelets, the members of LM.C gave off a very strong first impression to everybody present at the press conference.

With their dyed hair and heavy dark make up, I wouldn’t be surprised if people were actually intimidated by their punk-ish sense of fashion!

Last but the definitely not the least, the people that everybody at the press conference had been waiting for: After School!

I guess the saying ‘saves the best for the last‘ does apply for this situation because the 8 beautiful girls of After School were stunning as they made their way into the press conference room. The girls were rocking the elegance and sophistication of wearing black, which made them gorgeous beyond words.

Personally, I loved After School Lizzy‘s hairstyle because it was very different and unique from the rest of the members. All in all, the After School girls looked bright and fresh, each of them looking glamorous in their own outfits. Check out more pictures of them!

Orange Caramel, comprising of Raina, Nana and Lizzie, the three new girls in After School, was recently featured in Elle Girl Korea. With each of their bubbly charms and bright smiles, the girls gave a happy-go-lucky yet stunning touch to the summer theme of the photo shoot.

Background scenery of plain fields and beaches aside, the trio from the sub-group give straw hats, nautical tops and bottoms of girly skirts and spotty pants, a mix of flirty cheerfulness.

You’ve seen the men, most of them going for the beast concept or donning the classic suits — but now, let’s get the lowdown on the ladies’ performance outfits for the Dream Concert 2010!

Each year, the ladies’ performances get fiercer and fiercer, as they start shedding their cute images and experimenting with sexier outfits and consequently teasing with more skin. I’m sure the fanboys are not complaining! Who was the fiercest of them all in last night’s ball?

Find out below as we line up the performance outfits of your favorite female KPop idols:

The girls of Rainbow went the schoolgirl route with their song, Gossip Girl.

However, they should have just kept the Blair Waldorf school girl look rather than trying to mix it up with the black and white stripes, because this only ended up making the concept/theme look all over the place. Their outfits were a bit blah and too casual for me. And for something as big as the Dream Concert, there’s really no room for safe dressing.

No change of outfit for our f(x) girls tonight, too!

Like SHINee, their male counterparts in the SM Family, the outfits of f(x) went straight from the red carpet to the stage, wearing amped-up red variations of their Nu ABO outfits. I am loving the girls’ unique, experimental style — you’ve got to admit, they don’t fit into the cookie-cutter styling of other girl groups who are all either: a) cute/girly b) fierce/sexy c) funky/Lady-Gaga-inspired.

Although, Amber? Plaid shorts over jeans? I don’t get it.

The ladies of Davichi were a tad bit underdressed.

White blazer and light denim shorts — while this outfit does look good in general — this is something you’d wear for a dinner with friends, or even to the mall. Not the Dream Concert. Note to Davichi’s stylist: that small amount of gold sequins don’t automatically make anything glamorous.

T-ara transformed into Korea’s cheerleaders that night as they performed their World Cup song.

The fanboys also loved it when they continued to sing Bo Peep in these outfits. While cheerleading outfits are a surefire crowdpleaser, they could have done more variations for every individual’s outfit other than the different pins and brooches they put on their skirts. Also, not a big fan of the huge “Cielo ♥ Egoist” print on their shirts.

Fresh off their first few comeback stages, 4Minute stuck to neutral tones tonight, but still managed to keep things interesting.

I think their stylist/s pulled off a great feat: the girls’ outfits looked mismatched and unique–but similar enough to still look coordinated. Still lacking that extra wow factor though! (Although Hyuna‘s fiery red hair and hot dance skills more than compensates for that!)

And we see a re-appearance of the black and white stripes, this time on the gorgeous women of After School.

It is very disappointing because I’ve seen versions of their drummer girl costumes which are LEAGUES better than these striped, shimmery ones. I personally would recommend their simple red-and-gold or black-and-gold ones, because these drummer outfits (and their bare navels and long legs) are stunning in themselves, and could have looked fantastic onstage.

First look at Kara and the word ‘mermaids’ would probably come to mind.

Okay, while these outfits may seem too gaudy and slinky for most, we have to remember that these are stage outfits. When you’ve got a huge crowd of fans, most of which can only see a dancing speck on stage–the flashier and shinier, the better. Kara made the boldest color choice that night, and that deserves some merit. Although yes, the mermaid-like material is disturbing, and they could have gone with black footwear.

Korea’s original pop princesses are back, but their Dream Concert appearance has me crying 2 Different Tears.

First, I’m crying for joy: I love seeing the Wonder Girls back in Korea! Second, I’m crying because of their outfits! Unflattering light denim + scraps of lace + neon hair add-ons? And this from the girl group who captured the hearts of the entire world in their all-out retro concept for Nobody! Who can forget those iconic colorful mod dresses and those scene-stealing flapper dresses?

Girls, you better step your fashion game up!

Girls’ Generation channeled the King of Pop again that night!

Their Michael Jackson inspired black military jackets with strong, sequined shoulders made the girls look classy and stunning. Their looks were made even more interesting and stage-appropriate with their shiny tank tops and leather knee-high boots. If you noticed, it was the perfect mix of their Run Devil Run and Oh! concepts.

The Queen of KPop is back and looking younger and fiercer than ever!

Really, who else at the age of 31 can pull off this outfit but Lee Hyori? Her military-inspired, tough chick outfit was simple, but nobody can doubt the powerful impression it made! An outfit, indeed, is only as good as how its wearer carries it. And nobody does it like Lee Hyori.

Overall, many of the ladies could have done a lot better. Or is the Dream Concert not as much of a big event as the year-end music festivals? What do you think? Tell us in the comments below!

You’ve seen what the guys were spotted in for the Dream Concert 2010 red carpet. Now, let’s take a look at what the beautiful ladies are wearing on the Dream Concert 2010 red carpet! Seen on the red carpet are f(x), 4Minute, After School, T-ara and SNSD; however, female performers, Rainbow, KARA, Lee Hyori, Davichi and Wondergirls are missing in action.

The ladies’ were all pretty well-dressed for the red carpet- I’m especially in love with their lovely shoes! While SNSD are in pretty little white dresses, 4Minute and T-ara were all glammed up in black, rocker-vibe outfits, and After School, while they were not in a coordinated color, were still looking awesome in their smart casual outfits. f(x), on the other hand, were spotted in the same set of outfit for the red carpet and their performance (a tad disappointing).

No change of outfit for f(x) girls, who went straight from the red carpet to the stage, wearing varied outfits from their Nu ABO album concept. Though no change, I’m still loving their layered, street-styled outfits, especially Sulli‘s monochromatic layered look with her oversized printed jacket.

And yes, I still don’t get Amber‘s plaid shorts over jeans look.

4Minute were glammed up in black outfits and gorgeous platform heels and boots. The girls are looking fierce in these outfits that are similar to what they are spotting in their ‘HUH’ Hit Your Heart mini album concept photos.

Red-haired HyunA is seen here wearing the Gucci ‘Venus’ high heel platform sandals.

After School looked sexy in smart-casual outfits on the red carpets of Dream Concert 2010. Cute dresses, hot trousers outfits, and of course, lust-worthy platform heels are seen on the After School members. I have to say that I love their red carpet outfits much more than their ‘cheerleader’ stage outfits.

T-ara were seen in little black dresses (LBD) on the red carpet. Love the peep-toe ankle boots that the girls are sporting; however, the five of them wearing the same pair of heels make the group-look seem weird.

SNSD / Girls’ Generation were all seen in white mini-dresses in different designs. Love some of the cutting and designs of these dresses; however, some of these dresses are either too ‘normal’ or too weird-looking. My favorite would be Yuri’s outfit, and my least favorite would be Tiffany’s (I don’t understand the shredded white strips on the skirting).

Jessica is seen wearing the Christian Louboutin Studio 120 peep-toe pumps.

Kokokoreano’s choice for the best-dressed is After School! Worst-dressed? T-ara.
