Jo Kwon and Ga In ‘ties the knot’ for InStyle Korea!

Finally, after months of being in the spotlight as the ‘perfect’ celebrity couple, The Adam Couple, Jo Kwon from 2AM and Ga In from Brown Eyed Girls, wedding photo shoot in InStyle Wedding Korea magazine has been revealed. If you have been following @Kokokoreano on Twitter, you would have gotten the news that the couple flew to the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia for this photo shoot.

Jo Kwon shows off a unique new hairstyle similar to fellow group mate Jinwoon’s, and is spotted in fun casual styles and stylish formal looks, with his rock hard abs making a rare appearance in the beach shots. Ga In’s pure white wedding dress with a long train suits her petite frame perfectly, while she dons cute casual outfits and flirty feminine dresses in other shots.

The coolest part of this photo shoot is where Ga-In designed a tuxedo for Jokwon and he designed a wedding dress for her; they even wore the designed outfit for the photo shoot!

The big mission for Jokwon & Gain’s Bali wedding photo shoot! The mission was to design the one-of-a-kind dress and tuxedo for each other. Non-disclosure was important since they designed and kept everything a secret for the project. After the first meeting (at the InStyle Wedding office) with the designers, who were supposed to help them, they started to design the secret outfits.

2010.4.28 The first meeting with the designer. Gain & Hong Hyejin (Studio K): “I want to design a tuxedo with a somewhat special and a very strong(?) design. How should I say, a revealing design. I thought of shorts with the silhouette of baggy pants. As material, I want to use mesh. And for the top, it must be sleeveless.” Kwon & Edward Shin (Publica Atelier): “Please design a special dress which is elegant but sexy as well. A mini-dress which places emphasis on her legs would be nice since Gain noona has a nice figure. The color must be white, because it’s a wedding dress.”

2010.5.2 Design check and each of them giving a special touch (to the outfits). Gain & Hong Hyejin (Studio K): “Wow, it came out prettier than I had expected. And the back of the long sleeveless vest is also made out of mesh, right? Is it too revealing? No, I think Kwonnie will come out with a much more drastic design. I want to engrave “by Gain” somewhere on the the pockets (of the vast).” Kwon & Edward Shin (Publica Atelier): “It’s a wonderful design. The corsage is beautiful too and to me, the black “Sha” fabric for the lining seems to be a bit unique but I’ll trust your (the designer’s) sense. Our special touch would be to engrave “Yeob<3oh” with crystals.”

2010.5.10 Departure for filming in Bali. Starting from the airport and until the filming, their outfits were sent and kept secret.

2010.5.12 Revealing the outfits to each other. The outfits they made for each other. Finishing the photoshoot with nice photo cuts from the couple; they were moved when they saw the outfit made for each of them.

Gain’s dress made by Jokwon: “We went with the miniskirt because Gain noona’s legs are pretty. The skirt line is asymmetric and the point lies in the lining, which is expressed by using the “Sha” fabric.” – by Publica Atelier

Jokwon’s tuxedo made by Gain: “I wanted to put Kwonnie in shorts. And I chose mesh material to make it revealing. Please pay attention to the details on the shoulder parts too.” – by Studio K

Brown Eyed Girls’ Dark Fairytale Photo Shoot

Brown Eyed Girls are featured as dark fairytale characters for CJ Premium TV Magazine, Hello TV photo shoot. All of them looked ravishing as they take on various classic fairytale characters: Narsha as Snow White, Ga-In as Cinderella, JeA as Elisa, and Miryo as Rapunzel.

Their gothic make-up and charasmatic expressions fulfills the whole dark fairytale photo shoot. Scarily beautiful.

Thanks to Eiffelinseoul, we now know that Brown Eyed Girls were wearing Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 collection garments for this photo shoot! Miryo’s blue floral summer dress was also seen on Korean model, Hyoni Kang, on the runway at Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 collection show.

Brown Eyed Girls models for Get Used Spring/Summer 2010 collection with Bling Jeans. Narsha, Miryo, Je-A, and Ga-In look smoking hot in these Get Used pieces, showing off their S-line and seductive looks and poses in the photo shoot.

And what is denim without sexy, fierce heels to go with. Those gladiator heels, multi-buckled maryjanes, ankle boots and platform heels, that the girls are spotted wearing with their skin-tight denims, are totally to-die-for.

Favorite pieces out of all these denims got to be those grey and blue tie-dye jeans, which are still very hot this season!

Denim label Get Used representative talked about Get Used’s tough and manly concept since it started, and the reason for choosing the Brown Eyed Girls as their new Spring/Summer 2010 collection campaign models is to change people’s impression of Get Used. Brown Eyed Girls Singapore Zouk Live Party: Airport arrivals

The Brown Eyed Girls are back in Singapore! B.E.G were in Singapore last December for Sundown Seoul’d Out Festival, and with so much love shown by the fans, they are back again for Sundown Zouk Live Party.

Brown Eyed Girls, Narsha, Miryo, JeA and Ga-in, were decked out in casual street outfits with their superstar sunglasses. Miryo’s outfit looks really cute on her- lots of layerings, checkered/tartan prints (real hot this season!), ripped tie-dye jeans and high-top sneakers in a lovely shade of purple to match her top.

Narsha in super high platforms, with flared denims (which I hate), white hoodie and her Louis Vuitton bag. Not a huge fan of this look of Narsha.

Ga-in’s handbag looks so unique, and when paired with her all-black outfit, the little colorful dots on her bag adds some color to her whole outlook.

B.E.G’s coordi and JeA. Brown Eyed Girls’ coordi spotted carrying a Balenciaga City (a personal favorite of mine), and JeA is spotted with a Chanel paper bag together with a Tommy Hilfiger hand-carry luggage.

Seoul Music Awards 2010: Ladies’ Red Carpet Looks

The Seoul Music Awards 2010 was held on the 3rd of February 2010. Some of the ladies attendees include, SNSD (Girls Generation), After School, T-ara, KARA, Brown Eyed Girls, Davichi, Baek Ji Young, and Son Dambi.

The red carpet looks that night were AMAZING (well, mostly amazing, except for T-ara who walked the red carpet in their performace outfits!). Performance outfits should be left for the stage.

First up is So Nyuh Shi Dae in monochrome outfits:

The girls look great; especially Jessica and Yoona. Jessica’s multi-strapped maryjanes matched her mini dress really well. I wish they could change their hairstyles though- how about all black hair for the girls?

After School’s concept for the red carpet? Seafoam green? Though they showed cohesion with the same color scheme, their individual outfits don’t really stand out among the other red carpet attendees’ outfits.

After School girls need to have a change of hair color as well. Blonde don’t suit everyone.

I wish T-ara had worn the outfits they had worn for the sexy Arena magazine photo shoot, for the red carpet instead. Leave that cutesy cat outfits for the stage please.

KARA is spotted with some really beautiful heels! Jiyoung’s cage heels and Hara’s gladiators heels especially! In love <3

Brown Eyed Girls went for the sexy look for the red carpets, showing lots of legs.

Narsha looks so hot!

Davichi kept it simple in black and white.

Baek Ji Young in a flowy dress with a pair of ‘blinged’ heels. Lovely~

Son Dambi’s heeled boots look really great. But the dress just… looks like a lampshade. Dambi would look so much better in a bodycon dress with those boots.

My favorite look would have to be Baek Ji Young- the semi-formal dress with unique details on the back and those sparkling heels makes her look stand out among the rest of the attendees.

End-of-year Special at Kokokoreano: Most memorable event attended

I bet you would have guessed it right! Yes, the most memorable event attended is the Sundown Festival- Seoul’d Out Singapore press conference featuring T-Max, Brown Eyed Girls and FT Island (Huge thanks to Red Spade Entertainment).

Why is it so memorable? To be up close with those idols, and able to see, in real life, that they really have such awesome fashion sense was just a great experience.

You may have seen the main press conference posts here, here and here, but I’ll share with you the fashion aspects during this press conference!

Here’s Lee Ji Soo in a stylish smart casual look. Lots of details on him- the embellishments on his blazer, the tag necklace, and his Nike high-cut sneakers with gold trimmings (not shown here).

Park Si Nae and Mario both turned up at the press conference in pastel colors. I’m in love with the choice of colors- very korean-ish. Park Si Nae looked really elegant and demure in her white dress with her minimalistic make-up and simple bun.

Interesting textures on the simple dress made her look really stylish, and the see-through capped-sleeves reveals her sexy side. Lovely!

T-Max were in monochrome outfits. Simple but with interesting touches.

Totally impressed with Brown Eyed Girls‘ choice of footwear! So hot!

But the one that impressed me the most was probably FT Island’s stylist Noona!

She sports a trendy assymetrical bob, completed her edgy look with scarf from Alexander McQueen, blazer with exposed zipper, extremely shredded jeans (up to her thigh) and fierce leather wrap peeptoe sandals. HOT!

[Sundown Festival- Seoul'd Out] Brown Eyed Girls Press Conference

Closing the Sundown Festival-Seoul’d Out press conference at Marina Mandarin Hotel was the Brown Eyed Girls.When the girls came in, I couldn’t help but snap countless shots of them because I always have the impression that their outfits are awesome!

Brown Eyed Girls did not arrive the same day F.T. Island and T-Max did (on the 10th December). Instead, they arrived about an hour before the press conference began. Though they seem a little tired, they were still real nice and smiley!

The girls mentioned that their performance costume at Sundown Festival- Seoul’d Out will be similar to those they wear in Korea. See the original ‘Abracadabra’ at the festival tomorrow!

I moved some of watermarks to another side just to make sure it does not cover their beautiful collection of shoes (Studded heels, Ankle boots, and knee-high boots)! So lovely!

Among the 4 BEG girls, my favorite outfit for the event was Narsha’s! Her printed bodycon dress shows her figure, reveals her sexy back (and tattoo!), and paired with her boots and cropped hair, she just looks fantastic!

The fan-girl in me would totally choose Ga-In to be the best dressed; but, her denim vest just seems two sizes too big. In love with her grey ankle booties though!

^ Look at Ga-In’s face when she talks about 2am’s Jo Kwon. Ga-In was actually quite moody and quiet throughout the whole interview. So I posed a question to her directly!

Talking about ‘We got Married’ and 2am’s Jo Kwon, her face totally lits up and starts talking about the show and him! ^^

I still kinda wispered to her, “재밌어서?” and she mouthed, “네!” after the traslator had translated what she said.

And she smiled at me!!! *girl-crush* lol!

Narsha is just so pretty in real life! And her face is so small! <3

Qn 1. Your music is defined as hybrid soul, genre that measures R&B & hip-hop music. How do you feel about that?

[Narsha/Je-a] Actually our first intention was not just R&B & hip-hop. We wanna try a wide variety of music as possible to show to our fans.

Qn 2. What can fans expect from tomorrow’s (12th December) performance?

We got to know that there are so many fans in Singapore, and instead of doing something new, we are thinking of bringing what we do in Korea. Even the outfits, we bring the one we wore in Korea.

Qn 3. Since the 4 of you are such pretty ladies, what is the craziest act a male fan has done to you girls?

Well, all fans are special, and the fact that we are girl band, we’ll meet male fans especially in military events, and boys universities. They’re so passionate. Whatever we do, they love us.

[Asked by Kokokoreano] Qn 4. Ga-In is a married couple with 2am’s Jo Kwon in ‘We got Married’, do they get along well? How does he treat her?

[Ga-In] *Ga-In smiled so sweetly here* 2am’s Jo Kwon and I play the role of a married couple in ‘We got Married’ variety show. His character shown in the show is pretty much similar his real life. I play the role of a sassy girl in the show and he really nags alot. We are good friends in real life.

Brown Eyed Girls were the last. They just landed in Singapore a little over 1 hour prior to the press conference, coming in from Bangkok!
My first thought was…. They’re gorgeous. Despite their flight, they carried out the interview very professionally and showed no sign of fatigue. Props up to them.
Abracadabra is obviously soooo famous that even the ambassador from the Korea Embassy was caught snapping photos for the 4 pretty girls!

All of the time are really pretty, especially Narsha and Jea. Ga-in was rather quiet during the interview until Lynette (I love her for this, seriously!!!) asked her about 2AM’s Jo Kwon!
She was so shy answering the question. Lynette asked her what she thought of Kwon, and she said they clicked very well even though he always nags and bullies her. Awwwww ~ ;D
I nearly died trying to control my Gakwon-loving alterego. LOL. But I’m glad I got to feel some of the Gakwon love I thought I could only dream of watching on We Got Married teehee.

It was a much more subdued affair as compared to FT Island but the girls took every single question seriously!
My excitement for the actual concert multipled by thousands of times when they said they would like to present to us the way they are in Korea, so no compromises in outfits for Abracadabra!
I’ve always wanted to see the dance in real life and now I have the chance to!! I hope they perform ‘Sign’ too.
