Over at Seoul’s Jamshil Olympic Stadium, SM Town Live ‘10 World Tour officially kicked-start with a press conference before the reported 6-hour long concert! SM artists who attended this press conference include Kangta, BoA, U-Know & Changmin of DBSK, Super Junior, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, f(x), CSJH The Grace, Zhang Liyin, The TRAX, Go Ara, Lee Yeong Hee and more.

Even though we can’t be there physically to cover this highly-anticipated event, the stream of photos coming in are enough to fill our excitement! Let’s take a look!

It’s none other than actress Lee Yeon Hee from popular drama East of Eden. Yeon Hee stands out from the crowd in her refreshing red tube dress and her black ankle boots.

Okay, no. Changmin’s not modelling for Chanel. The man from Tohoshinki appeared in Chanel’s 2010/2011 Autumn/Winter prêt-a-porter collection show”, held in the National Yoyogi First Gymnasium, Shibuya, Tokyo, on June 23.

For his first public appearance, we see him looking strikingly tall (and handsome) clad in black from top to bottom. A grey vest over a black-fitted tee looks nice, that’s for sure. But add a textured scarf hanging lazily around the neck and the look is nothing short of edgy.

Of course that’s not where it ends for fashionable Changmin. One studded belt, a leather band around the wrist, a pair of black leather boots by Steve Madden, and the outfit is complete. So, what’dya say? This guy is sizzling hot is he not?

In the June-July issue of High Cut Magazine the SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong is featured. Hyun joong was the first person to arrive at the venue for the Cartier LOVE DAY event. Along with other celebrities, DBSK leader Yunho was also seen attending the event being sponsored by High Cut Magazine.

Kim Hyun Joong arrived wearing a very sleek black suit and is wearing a Pasha Seatimer watch from Cartier on his left hand. The watch costs about 5,177,025 won which is about $4275 US dollars. With part of his hair tied back, it adds uniqueness to his formal wear.

Yunho from DBSK arrived in simple clothing, but he added sexiness to it as well. His stunning Maison sunglasses definitely makes the outfit much better. Along with his Ballon Bleu Cartier watch on his left wrist which costs about 10,142,125 won, which is $8375 US dollars.

Well, don’t we all wish that was possible! But Cartier gives a great alternative to that fantasy, through their “Love Summer Bracelet” which is endorsed by no less than 11 Korean superstars: Rain (Jung Ji Hoon), Kim Hyun Joong (SS501), U-Know Yunho (TVXQ/DBSK), Yoona (SNSD), Yoon Eun Hye, Ha Ji Won and Lee Min Ho (Boys Over Flowers), Kang Ji Hwan, Ji Jin Hee, Kim Hee Sun and Son YeJin.

U-KNOW YUNHO

DBSK / TVXQ’s charismatic leader U-Know Yunho looked laid back but still dashing in his long gray coat, graphic shirt, dark trousers and tasseled loafers.

While I am not a fan of the length and fit of his coat, I am liking the bold print on his shirt and his choice of footwear. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air from the usual event outfits of Korean male celebrities. And Yunho definitely has the gait and confidence (and great body frame) to pull this look off.

KIM HYUN JOONG

Speaking of usual event outfits, it’s either SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong was misinformed about the dress code, or he just really chose to play it safe that day.

While this all-black outfit may have been okay for an evening, red-carpet event, it certainly was too dark and heavy for one that was held in broad daylight. And even more so, for an event that celebrated the launch of a SUMMER collection. May I also add that Hyun Joong did not even bother to add any visible accent piece to his boring black outfit. He probably thought his flawless skin and pretty boy face was enough. Well, I can’t argue with that!

JI JIN HEE

To add to the blah that day was Ji Jin Hee’s black and white outfit.

His outfit was an extreme opposite to Hyun Joong’s very formal suit — in fact, Jin Hee seems a tad bit underdressed for the Cartier Love Day. In a plain white v-neck shirt, plain black vest, plain black cropped trousers and plain gray shoes, he looks like he just stopped by the event on his way to the mall.

SON YE JIN

The only belle of the ball, Son Ye Jin strikes the perfect balance between summer casual and Cartier glam. I believe she took a page out of the stylish book of Chloe when she put together this utilitarian chic outfit. Take a peek at Chloe’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection to see what I mean!

While the items she’s wearing are not the ones we see on the runway, they are pretty good approximations of Chloe’s linen utility shorts with big pockets and those canvas and leather ankle-cuff sandals.

Judging from these four Korean stars’ looks, Cartier may have sent mixed signals regarding the dress code that day. Or perhaps these celebrities are experiencing a cold-to-hot weather transition dilemma? Well whatever the cause of the lackluster outfits may be, at least they’re all doing this for charity: every purchase of Love Summer Bracelet will be donated to International Vaccine Institute.

TVXQ’s Uknow Yunho was spotted wearing this ensemble at the media conference for Samsung’s 3D content creation collaboration, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun in W Korea magazine photo shoot, while Kim Bum was spotted in a similar outfit as Yunho at MVIO Fall / Winter Seoul collection 2010 front row during Seoul Fashion Week Fall / Winer 2010.

Both members of DBSK wore suits from MVIO’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection by Korean designer, Han Sang Hyuk (한상혁).

DBSK’s Yunho wore a suit with a bright yellow vest inside, pairing it with an outstanding MVIO brooch and white sneakers.

On the other hand, Changmin wore a white suit also from MVIO Spring/Summer collection. Pairing it with a black trousers and a pair of black oxfords.

Celebrities like Kim Bum (김범) , Jang Geuk Suk (장근석), 2PM, Super Junior as well as Kim Hyun Joong (김현중) who is the face of MVIO’s ad campaigns have been seen wearing MVIO. Check out SS501 in MVIO S/S 2010 apparels.

TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu is featured in the June issue of Elle Japan in Dries Van Noten Spring / Summer 2010 Men’s ready-to-wear collection. Throughout the entire photo shoot, Dries Van Noten off-runway looks can be seen on Junsu. Preppy looks with a tinge of continental and playful vibe; these outfits certainly stands out admist the men’s formal wears.

Favorite look out of the entire photo shoot? The 1st one. Love the blue and white printed shirt matched with a navy blue cardigan. Perhaps minus the tie? I’m not a big fan of the brown.

I must say Junsu & Joongnie looked mighty fine in the photos. Junsu stood out with his red & white checks shirt (unbuttoned sommore! *drools*) Joongnie killed us with his oh-so-soft and natural hairstyle.

OH! Is that a couple Tee for 2Us? Uknow in black & Uchun in red, how sweeet~.
