Jang Geun Suk shot a pictorial for High Cut magazine’s 68th issue. The goal was to channel a mix of outfits combining chic 70s wear while maintaining the modern and sensible wardrobe seen on runways this year.

This particular pictorial probably wouldn’t have worked as well using any other star, as you would need a lot of charisma, charm and confidence to pull off some of the outfits. Jang Geun Suk’s first look featured a white, knit turtleneck. This look was all about contrast. The white of the sweater against a black backdrop, vivid scarlet of the rose, Jang Geun’s smoldering stare compared to such an innocent looking sweater. The concept of smoking a rose added another layer of depth and mystery to this photo.

His next photos featured the same long hair as his character in the upcoming drama “Love Rain.” The first featured a loose, two-toned gray cardigan by Rick Owens. Despite the simplicity of the outfit, Jang Geun pulled off that effortlessly chic look we all crave.

Here we can really see the 70s influence on the photo shoot. While the gold tailcoat paired with a dark purple t-shirt looked amazing, floral pants by Alexander Wang failed to deliver. The gold necklace was a nice touch, tying in the colors in the pants with the jacket. Although this isn’t my favorite look, Jang Geun Suk managed to pull it off better than most others.

Again, his last look featured some interesting pants, this time from Tom Greyhound. Buckles provided a point of focus, while pleating added extra interest and detail. And that hair! A refreshing change from the longer styles he sports in the dramas “Mary Stayed Out All Night” and now “Love Rain.”

Jang Keun Suk flies in for an exciting weekend with his fans and kicks off his 2011 Asia Fan Meeting Tour! Jang Keun Suk arrived in Singapore on 22nd April 2011 and attended a press conference and an autograph and photo-taking session the very same day.

“2011 Jang Keun Suk Cri Show in Singapore” will be happening at University Cultural Center Hall on 22th April 2011, 7pm.

You may be wondering why the theme for his showcase “Cri Show” came about. He mentioned that this name came about when he was with his friends and he often used this word “Cri” to signify good. Also, Cri-J is his fan club name and he wanted this show to be meant only for his fans.

When asked whether it is true that Korea female actresses are hesitant to work with him because he is very pretty. He replied that he don’t think that this was a problem as there are many pretty Korea female actresses and it really
depends on the role he is in.

To him, acting is his dream and his life and when he was a student, and he actually studied entertainment to be an actor. And now, he is determined to be a good one.

Upon the end of the press conference, Jang Keun Suk had his autograph and photograph session at Marina Square Atrium at 7pm. This event has attracted over hundred of his fans. His fan club also specially prepared a “lettuce dance” for him which kept him laughing.

Code Name Blue, also known as C.N. Blue released the music video for their debut track “Alone” and held their first showcase all on the 14th of January 2010.

I am loving C.N. Blue, this 4-member band’s music and styling. Their image and outfits have a very Korean mixed Japanese kind of look- quite different from the Korean boy bands in the market.
