The Incheon Tourism Association hosted the third annual Incheon Korean Music Wave concert at the World Cup Stadium on August 13, 2011. The Incheon Korean Music Wave concert included performances from the hottest K-pop artists in the industry.

The artists that performed at Incheon Korean Music Wave concert 2011 included Super Junior, 2PM, Girls’ Generation, F.T. Island, INFINITE, TEEN TOP, ZE:A, 2NE1, BEAST, KARA, SHINee, 2AM, f(x) miss A, T-ara, MBLAQ, CN Blue, SG Wannabe, Secret, 4minute, SISTAR, and more.

Prior the actual concert, there was also a red carpet event where the various girl groups and boy bands strutted down. Though most of the artistes were decked in performances, check out some of the gorgeous outfits they were spotted in :

The Incheon Music Wave concert 2011 will air on MBC at a later date.

In August’s issue of ANAN Magazine, the boys from TVXQ, Beast and MBLAQ go for the simple, light and natural look in their respective photo shoots.

Yunho and Changmin showed how simplicity can be stylish with their simple outfits of a plain tee and matching hoodie and pants.

Doojoon, Yoseob, Kikwang, Junhyung, Dongwoon and Hyunseung of Beast pulled off casual summer outfits for their photo shoot as well, with plain tops, jackets and ties.

On the other hand, G.O, Seungho, Mir, Joon and Thunder of MBLAQ spiced it up with some color with printed capris, patterned shoes as well as bright vests.

MBLAQ is back with their third mini album, “Mona Lisa“. The members dress contradicting from each other with a taste from the 80′s with no smiles to spare. With MBLAQ dressed as a fencer, businessman, convict, rocker and a director on the cover, I’m sure that the A+ fandom is electrified and ready for their comeback.

MBLAQ’s Thunder is styled up as a rocker from the past with a feather boa, leather jacket, accessories and an outstanding bright red fedora to match. He’s elaborated face ‘tattoo’ until his neck makes him even more steamy!

This sophisticated business man is none other than MBLAQ’s Mir. Although he’s dressed up simple with a suit and a pair of geeky glasses, he still looks as stunning as ever.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon ( she lovely~ * Oh My School reference ) changed from his confused self into a smart looking fencer. The best thing is the fact that all he had to add was a velvet cape with gold lining, gloves and a fencing sword to his suave half formal outfit. Now who could resist this man from being coming A+’s knight?

There’s a sexy convict on the loose~ MBLAQ’s Seungho dressed in an oversized black and white striped uniform paired with his composed face, no one can stand putting him in a cage.

MBLAQ‘s G.O styles up in denim for both top and bottom. Now who says there’s such thing as over denim? Even just sitting on a wooden like chair, G.O is looking as matured as ever.

K-Pop Heal the World press conference featuring ‘the men in black’, MBLAQ and T-Max, was held on 3 June 2011, Conrad Centennial Hotel, Singapore.

In addition to the media present, there were also hundreds of fans who were there for the Meet and Greet session. T-ara and After School, who would also be performing at K-Pop Heal the World concert on 4 June 2011 at Singapore Expo Max Pavilion, were unable to attend this press conference. T-ara had to attend an urgent filming session in Singapore right after they landed on 3 June, while After School would only be in Singapore on 4 June itself.

Back in Singapore for the second time, T-Max looked at ease answering questions from the audience. When quizzed about their musical comeback in Korea, as much as the fans want to see them on stage again, the members themselves would like to have a comeback as quickly as possible too!

Looking sleek and sharp in formal black-suits, fans of MBLAQ would be pleased to know that their future album offerings would include their very own-produced tracks!

Mnet Ultimate Live Asia concert in Singapore was held on the 4th of December 2010 at Marina Bay Sands Exhibition hall. The performers for this huge Korean pop music festival includes MBLAQ, Miss A, 2AM, BEAST and 2PM!

MBLAQ kicked start the concert with their top hits like “Oh Yeah” and “Y”, followed by solo stages by each of the members G.O, Lee Joon, Mir, Seungho, and Thunder. They ended their fabulous performances with “One better day” from their “Y” album.

MBLAQ had two sets of outfits for the stage- one performance military-styled navy blue look and one smart casual look for their solo stages.

Next up, rookie group Miss A (Min, Fei and Jia) brought their fabulous dance moves and renowned songs to the stage.

First up, Miss A performed “Breathe” Chinese remix version, Lady Gaga’s “Poker face”, followed by Min, Jia, and Fei’s dance solos, and ending their awesome performance with their famous “Bad girl good girl”. Suzy even sent a video message to fans who were at the concert venue, promising them that Miss A would be back in Singapore soon, and to follow Min, Jia and Fei in the “Bad girl good girl” dance moves.

Miss A only had one set of black with neon-colored printed outfit for their stage performance.

2AM soothed the crowd with their beautiful vocals after dance songs from MBLAQ and Miss A.

2AM brought the concert crowd songs from their latest album, “Saint O’Clock”, and their famous hits like, “Can’t let you go even if I die”, “A friend’s confession”, “I did wrong”, and “Like crazy”, in their princely white suits.

2AM’s Changmin said that they felt sad that they were not able to give anything to their fans, so they specially prepared these four teddy bears for the fans at the concert.

The second last group to perform was B2ST / BEAST!

B2ST / BEAST brought up the concert atmosphere with their top hits like, “Breath”, “Bad Girl”, “Oasis”, “Beautiful”, and “Shock”, in their brightly contrasted (yellow and black) outfits. Despite arriving just hours before the actual concert (and leaving immediately after the concert), BEAST charmed and teased the crowd with the limitless energy and smiles.

Last, but certainly not the least, 2PM rocked the stage at the Mnet Ultimate Live Asia concert!

Starting with their hit song, “What time is it”, 2PM charmed the concert crowd with their beastly image and great performance. Other songs include, “Don’t stop can’t stop”, “Without you”, “Only you”, “Angel”, “I’ll be back”, “Gimme the light”, and  “Heartbeat”. There was even a footage of 2PM’s airport arrivals, hotel, fanmeet and rehearsal in Singapore.

2PM drove fans at the concert crazy when they put on white angel wings during their “Angel” performance and giving out roses and candies while serenading “Only you”.

We’ve seen many k-pop groups take on the cover of Elle Girl magazine and this time, they’ve brought you, that’s right, no one else but the boys of MBLAQ! The boys are going to ‘give it to your y’ with their simplicity this time round!

MBLAQ’s second youngest, Thunder, is seen wearing shorts and a outer shirt with black flower printed designs on it. In my opinion, the shorts are far too short, revealing his milky thighs, but who’s complaining right?

Ah, everybody’s favourite boy. Lee Joon is seen in this photo with his shawl around his neck, his chocolate abs shown to the world. You can see his v-line, nobody’s complaining about that either.

The youngest member of MBLAQ, Mir, is here with a solemn pose, donning on a sleeveless half checkered, half black top, with small accessories on his hands. All this seriousness doesn’t really show the true nature of this playful magnae, does it?

G.O., here, looks like a camper who got lost. A vintage-like bandana around his neck, shorts and a plain shirt is what he showcases and with his facial hair shaved off for their concept ‘Y’, doesn’t G.O. look more youthful and more of his age?

I honestly debated if I should post this up but I figured, a photo is still a photo and for this photo, you can figure out what’s going out in it yourself. I’m guessing the photographer doesn’t quite like Seungho, but I am very much liking his hair color in his photo.

I have to sincerely wonder though, what is with the relatively strange concepts that Korean magazines comes up with these days. But then again, we all do need to breathe a different air as compared to just sticking to skin, skin and more skin.

Well, that’s for me, at least.

MBLAQ went vintage for Vogue girl which is the total opposite from their old gothic style. With a Vespa in the shoot, the boys certainly made old school look pretty chic.

Lee Joon starts off with a plain black tank top, frilly black ripped jeans and a pair of gladiator sandals. This really emphasize on his awesome arm muscles and also the simplicity of the photo.

Mir wears a fishnet styled top with a pair of black jeans. With his serious expression, he really looks like one of those old school bad boys.

Thunder wears a baseball jacket on top of his V-neck shirt and paired it all with a pair of shorts and shades. Doesn’t he remind you of those classic movies jockey in high school?

Thunder’s unbuttoned top, suspenders, jeans and vest make him stand out. I guess he’s the quiet, cool one for the vintage shoot.

G.O pairs his skinny jeans with an Organice Fine Jersey Short Sleeve Leisure Shirt from American Apparel and a simple black tie, looking like one of those popular kids in high school.

Mir makes his second appearance in the magazine on a vespa with a Fred Perry Tipped Microfiber Jacket, a Staple Tank and a Steamer Hat from OBEY and a pair of Cheap Monday Tight Skinny Jeans. Mir also wears a pair of Red Wing Shoes from American Apparel.

Lee Joon played it simple by pairing a wife beater, cropped jeans and a Sartorini Broner hat. He also finishes the look with a pair of Dr Martens 1461 3 eye shoe, white patent lamper original men’s.

Seung Ho wore a graphic tee, tan cropped pants and a pair of white shoes. He worked it off and looked like a gangster back in the days.

G.O simply wore an Adidas Original t-shirt, jeans and a pair of black shoes.

Thunder seemed pretty laid back with a Fred Perry shirt over a red t-shirt, cropped jeans and a pair of oxford shoes.

Seung Ho seemed really gentlemen like when he wore a blue striped blazer with a white t-shirt underneath and paired it all off with ripped skinny heans and black shoes.

Lee Joon wore a Blazer by Beyond Closet by Tae Yong, grey graphic tee, white cropped jeans and a pair of Dr Martens 1461 3 eye shoe, white patent lamper original men’s. Which made him looked like a school boy with a sense of style.

So, which MBLAQ member looks best in Vintage?

The annual Dream Concert brings together the biggest acts in the Korean music industry for a night of fun, festivity, and of course, the glitz and glamor.

This is also the time when artists get the chance to not only strut their stuff on the red carpet, but also to amp up their usual performance outfits. However, most of this year’s performance outfits seemed a bit lackluster.

U-Kiss kicked off the main show with 뭐라고 (Mworago) and 만만하니 (Manmanhani).

While they went with monochromatic black, their shiny accessories added flair and individuality to their outfits. I’m particularly liking Soo Hyun‘s zippered and studded motorcycle jacket.

For their performance of ‘Jiggy’ and ‘No One’, the boys of F.Cuz also stuck with the neutrals in their black jeans, black vests, and white coats with black trim. Their stylists could do better by spicing it up with more than just rips and zippers on their jeans.

Finally! Some color! Okay, just a teensy tiny bit.

ZE:A/Children of Empire changed out of their all-white red carpet outfits and into grungy, street looks. Splashes of red and plaid were added to their distressed jeans and black tops.

The five disciples of Rain proved to look as stunning in suits, just like their mentor.

MBLAQ performed their new single Y, in their usual performance outfits — black and white satin suits. Simple but classy, with Lee Joon providing that satisfactory show of skin. Rain would be proud.

The band C.N. Blue was definitely a breath of fresh air, in more ways than one.

Instead of dance moves and ab-flashing, these boys were armed with their instruments and some serious skills at playing them. Not only that, they were the only ones who chose a light palette (shades of light blue, gray, white and khaki) for their outfits. They were a welcome stand out from the dark, tough-guy looks that night.

How’s this for a POP of color?

If BEAST‘s suits were screaming red, so were their fans — screaming their lungs out that is. While I’m loving the fun prints on their white shirts, they looked too dressed-down for a big concert stage like this. The relaxed fit and the color of their pants also didn’t help with glamming up their looks. Regardless, to their fans, their beastly charisma were the only accessory they needed.

I guess SM Entertainment decided to give only one set of clothes to Shinee tonight.

Our favorite contemporary boys performed Ring Ding Dong and Noona, You’re So Pretty (Replay) in their red carpet outfits. But I’m not one to complain, I’m definitely loving Maknae Taemin‘s necklace and Diva Key‘s blazer!

The SS501 sunbaes showed the crowd how they’ve matured as men and as a group.

Looking handsome in classic black suits, they serenaded the stadium with a ballad. Hyun Joong, as always, looked like perfection in his well-fitting suit, and the others jazzed up theirs with silver statement necklaces. However, we see that Kyu Jong‘s suit is not so classic after all — check out those wing-style sleeves.

Now, we can’t talk of hot men in suits without mentioning the World Star, Rain / Bi.

I, for one, am thankful that he decided to ditch the motorcycle gang outfits for Hip Song and slipped back into this slick ladies’ man outfit. The man shows the younger  boys how it’s done in his three-piece suit: black trousers, blue polo, gray vest and a black jacket — all of which fit him perfectly. The paisley tie is very Chuck Bass, and Rain pulls it off effortlessly.

While I voted for them as best-dressed on the red carpet, 2PM‘s performance outfits were disappointing.

Sure, I get it, these are what you usually wear for Without U performances, but really? No upgrades aside from white stripes running down the inside of your pants? JYP, I know you’re busy with the Wonder Girls’ comeback, but please give these boys spicier, non-mugger-inspired outfits!

Super Junior is back with their new single, 미인아 Miinah (BONAMANA), despite being three members less. While the song is breaking sales records and winning hit charts, their Dream Concert outfits were… more of the same. Decked in all white, with cut-outs, mesh and open buttons — it looks like their stylists just recycled inspiration from their Sorry, Sorry concept and a bit of SNSD‘s Run Devil Run as well.
